This brought about The Fall of the Gods and bathed Malek in divine power, resulting in his Apotheosis.
In the years following the Fall of the Gods, the world has struggled and recovered to a degree. A new pantheon has risen, the land itself has stabilized into floating islands in the sky, and air-travel has become a necessity.

In what became known as the Elven Supremacy War, the conflict ended in a climatic and catastrophic battle that revealed the prophecy to be manufactured by their own high cleric, Emaacil Fel’nis’at as a ploy to attain power enough to raise herself to divinity. The war ceased, Emaacil stole her place in the divine council from and became the Goddess of Famine.
